I started at Caterpillars in 2015. My time at Caterpillars has been an enjoyable one, I have developed my skills, knowlege and practice over the years.

As a deputy manager I enjoy the responsibity of supporting staff and children in regards to their development. 

As the special educational needs coordinator I focus on the children's development and ensure we provide high quality teaching within the setting.

I have worked at Caterpillars for over 15 years, i strive to give children a secure and stimulating environment in which they can learn and develop. I hope that I can shape the children of the future and give them the best start in life.  

In additon  to this, I ensure that everyone who comes into contact with us is treated with dignity and respect. I make sure that we provide inclusive care that is catered for all. We believe that this is very important and i am proud to support this.

Behaviour management manager

I enjoy working at Caterpillars and have done so for the past 15 years. I love watching my daughter Claire create a warm welcoming atmosphere for both children and staff. 

As the Behaviour management officer I analyse staff practices to ensure the children are given the best support possible.  I support children with their emotional welbeing and will offer guidence to staff and parents about this topic. 

This is an important part of our service and I ensure that this is of a high standard.

Under 2's Unit  (Baby Room)

Both my children attended Caterpillars as soon as a position became availible i knew i wanted to join the team. 

I have had both the parent and practitioner view and I can't fault it. 

I work closely on your child's pre toddler journey and focus on building their key skills, independence and confidence as they begin to develop. 

I love watching the youngest children become independent and encourge their characters to grow.

2-5's Unit (2 - 5 years)

I enjoy watching the younger children develop, and support their needs in preparation for moving into the 2-5's Unit. 

I am always finding new learning oppotunites and experiences for the children to enjoy and share these with my team.  

I encourage positive outcomes for all and focus on supporting the child's Personal, social and emotional development.

Under 2's Unit  (18m-2years)

I started my journey at Caterpillars in october 2020, i work within the under 2's unit specifcally with those aged 18m -2. 

I love working with toddlers because every moment is full of wonder, growth, and joy. Their curiosity and enthusiasm make each day exciting. I especially enjoy sharing these experiences with parents and engaging them in their child's learning journey—building strong connections that support and celebrate every little milestone together

I love the opportunity i have been given to create a fun and exciting experience for the children that aids their development.

I love working with children because their energy, curiosity, and joy are truly inspiring. Every day is a new adventure filled with laughter, learning, and discovery. I thrive on having fun, exploring new things, and creating meaningful moments that help children grow and shine.

I ensure that all meals provided are healthy and delicious for your little one. I have good knowlege of food safety practice, and ensure that all food is safe and nutritious.

I love seeing all the children enjoy the meals cooked, empty plates and full tummies ready to take on the day!
